Back in the 1960s, the Robinson family got LOST IN SPACE, in a classic sci-fi tv series that got better ratings than STAR TREK. 50 years later, the WB tried to reboot that franchise with director John Woo (FACE/OFF) and a young Adrianne Palicki (THE ORVILLE). Only this time, the Robinson family had to fence extraterrestrial threats in a post-9/11 milieu, a la BATTLESTAR GALACTICA.

Film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold dive into the furthest reaches of outer space to figure out what went wrong, what went right, and where this unusual reboot of LOST IN SPACE would have gone if more episodes had been produced. Who knows? Maybe it would have been better than the new Netflix version. (Then again, maybe not...)
